Calvary has an active ministry for children and we would love to have your kids visit with us! We plan age-appropriate activities and lessons that emphasize how God’s Word applies in real-life situations. Rest assured your child will feel safe, experience care, and sense compassion from teachers who love God and believe children are valued by Him.

Matthew 19:14 “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Children are the future of our families, our community and of our church. Based on studies, most children come to faith in Christ before their teenage years. We want to equip them with the tools to help them make this life changing decision. It is crucial for us to minister to the little ones in order for the church to continue to grow and spread the word of God.

Our mission is to reach every child possible in our community. Our Outreach Team provides transportation on Calvary’s Bus and Van each Wednesday night to those children who want to attend but do not have the means to travel. If you or your child needs a ride, please contact our church office by noon on the day before the service so we can make sure someone can help you.

We understand that children today are faced with challenges that many adults never have in the past and struggle with unimaginable difficulties. Here at Calvary we are inspired to help all children realize that God wants to be their very best friend, to help provide the stability in life they need and that Jesus is the One True Way for their life. While all of life may not be pleasant, our Lord is always there to help them over the “bumps” and will provide all of their needs.

When we teach our children the love of Christ, through His Word, the Bible, then we believe that they are equipped to share Christ’s love with others. Children are one of the best gifts from God.

“Love them like Jesus, Carry them to Him, His yoke is easy, His burden is light. We don’t need the answers to all of life’s questions, just know that He loves them and stays by their side.” (Casting Crowns)
